Construction Projects Update
![]() The Auburn University Regional Airport is working to improve safety at our facility. Construction on the taxiway "Charlie" Extension Project will begin on Monday, October 10, 2011, and continue through the end of February 2012. See the planned Taxiway Charlie Extension construction diagram. The Glide Slope for Runway 36 will be out of service and shutdown effective 10/31/2011 at 1200Z, 7:00 A.M. CDT, for a 120 day period. The localizer approach, approach lighting system, and PAPI will still be active and available to aircraft using the facility during the construction period with the exception of a yet to be determined (2) two week period during the month of February 2012.
